Most of us can relate to the searching for meaning in our lives. It becomes obvious when we pay attention to the questions we ask ourselves and this bee asks himself plenty of questions. I love how the author Merv Flahr begins the book. At the top of the page it states that it has been left blank intentionally. At the bottom is the reason.
Every life story starts with a blank page.

Now here is a passage a lot of us fine folks can relate too. (pg 14)
It appeared to Beer, in his search for meaning, that happiness to a swarm meant being married, owning a hive and acquiring expensive material possessions.
Beer asked himself, Am I really happy?
Is it always great to see (and read) when someone in the counseling profession publishes a book sharing their wisdom. Flahr speaks of how the bee learns to live in the present & his way with words is fantastic. Great line here (pg 25) – “Beer had a realization that the things bees typically concern themselves with simply do not matter in the grand swarm of things.”
