A 30 day challenge to dream the answers to questions posed.
Dreams are the window into our soul. There is so much we can see about ourselves from our dreams. We can communicate with loved ones who have passed on. We can tune into what our hopes and fears are. We can also tap into what is going on with others around us, near and far.
This book is a 30 day challenge to dream answers to questions. Questions I would pose to myself every night before going to sleep. Topics: cancer, the lost continent of Atlantis, safe places to live, weather, health, death and the list goes on…

Day 5:– The Spider And The Navy - "What is the cause(s) for Cancer?"
Sept 18, 2009:
For this dream incubation: Again, I only repeated the question to myself as I lay in bed. Tonight I will ask a question that involves astral travel to find out the answer. I have a neat way of doing that.
Dream: Oh my! Silly dream had me running around and feeling constipated. I'm going to have to ask a fun, adventurous type question tonight. It started out with my writing away as my husband was busily cleaning up the house. We were bothering each other because I wanted to work at writing and he wanted the house cleaning finished. Taking a break from writing, I went upstairs to clean the bedroom only to find a huge scary looking spider crawling onto my pillow. There was junk on the bed, Pistachio nuts and crackers. (I looked for pictures of spiders first thing this morning so I could name what I saw. It looked like a Hobo spider. This spider is nicknamed a house spider)
Running downstairs to fetch help, we both came back upstairs with kitchen spatulas but the spider was gone. Soon I found myself at an outdoor gathering of a lot of food being served. Thousands of people were there. On the tables was lots of red meat with hardly any vegetables. I could not find poultry or fish. At first when I was walking around it did not seem out of the ordinary to me. Upon further inspection, my stomach started to turn at the thought of the amount of meat being served. Come to think of it, I did not see any fruit either.
With the thought of eating all that food making me ill, I went into the kitchen to complain and ask for the chicken and veggies. All of a sudden the spider was in that kitchen. I tried to tell the cooks but they would not listen to me. Running out of there distraught I went into a hotel room that looked like it was only for children. (Probably one of those Canad Inn theme rooms) Suddenly, I needed to go to the washroom. When I went into the washroom it was taped up. You could not use the toilet. They even had put scotch tape under the water over the hole so that if you did go it would be stopped. (Must be pretty heavy scotch tape to stick under water like that. ha ha) I immediately felt constipated. I could not go to the bathroom.
Leaving the room, I turned to the right to go through these two big heavy wooden doors. Across from me was that kitchen with the spider. My husband and daughter showed up as I left the hotel room and as we went through the two big doors, we were pounced on and captured by Ninja's. They were all dressed in black and had long clear fingernails.
Thankfully the US Army showed up and saved us. I looked at the Ninja's and like a little kid went "na na na na na". (Where was the Canadian army? is my question. I am Canadian after all) Must be a sign that we need more Canadian movies where Canadian's save the day.
Interpretation: Looking at the symbols presented and how the dream made me feel leads me to believe that this cancer problem starts in childhood. It starts in the bowel being backed up. The food was not being consumed properly. There was too much meat, not enough fiber. Our portions are too big. We are eating way too much. A spider to me was representing my thoughts when I saw it on my pillow. A spider in the kitchen was that the problem with cancer developing in our system has a lot to do with what we eat. I am not saying we should not consume red meat; it just seemed to me that there was way too much of it and not enough veggies, fruit, poultry and fish.
Looking at a couple of symbolic meanings for spiders one could say that in India (Maya) 'not all things are as they appear to be' and in Native American Culture, the spider is often the teacher and protector of esoteric wisdom'.
