HALO
This angel abandoned her eternity;
Was it an accident of fate?
Tumbling from the grace of eternity
into this universe of mortal hate…
This angel abandoned her eternity;
laying on the rocks of regret;
bruised beyond recognition;
her heart beneath perils wept…
lying still by her side,
my grief over whelms me
in honor’s hope I may abide
I looked deep into her eyes…
Her mirrors of emerald splendors;
Are reflective of her stormy cries;
I rest my weary heart in shame…
Glory is this angelic beauty;
asking me to call out her name…
or was she thrown from the grace of god?
Embracing her in mortal unity;
I called out her name in sorrows trod…
