Just in time for Mother's Day!

The “your mother is so...” genre of jokes has been covered in several books of “snaps.” In case anyone wants to write more such books, here are some “snaps” that can be included:

10) Afghan snaps: “Your mother is so ugly that when the government passed a law allowing women to show their faces in public, they specifically excluded your mother from the benefit of that law.”

9) Italian snaps: “Your mother is so weird that she shaves her legs.”

8) French snaps: “Your mother is so sexually repressed that her husband is your father.”

7) Freudian snaps: “Your mother is so ugly that you never developed an Oedipus complex.”

6) Quaker snaps: “Thy mother is so stupid that her head is as empty as our Meeting House on Sunday.”

5) Feminist snaps: “Your mother is so unenlightened that she doesn’t work outside the home and she’s heterosexual. If you don’t think this joke is funny, that’s because jokes are supposed to enlighten you, not amuse you.”

4) Republican snaps: “Your mother is so domineering that she always insists on being the first to use the urinal in the Senate men’s room. So there, Chelsea!”

3) Democratic snaps: “Your mother has such bad genes that one of her sons is an S & L crook, another son is the governor of a state which is infamous for its political corruption, and a third son was defeated in the 2000 election. So there, Mr. President!”

2) Highbrow snaps: “Your mother is so stupid, she can’t tell the difference between Kierkegaard and Right Guard.”

1) Lowbrow snaps: “Your mother is such a time-waster that she goes on the Internet and reads idiotic Top Ten lists.”
