These are my opinions on the very art of letter writing.

You all may wonder why I have chosen the
topic "Letter Writing". People do not think much about
its impact. They do not give necessary respect
which it needs. I very much object the careless tendency
of people about the way of writing letters. Here goes my
agony::

What is a Letter? A Letter is a means of correspondence
with a person whom we need to convey any message and
we cannot meet personally.There may be different kinds
of letters: Business, Official,Personal,Occasional and so on.
Based on the type of letter, we need to take different approaches.
Whatever it may be we need to maintain certain standards.

Whatever be the kind of letter, first we need to address
them. We have to write about the reason for which we are writing.
(Ofcourse general greeting may be) and ofcourse we have to
end.Standards and Pattern govern this. Everyone learns how to
write and go about official letters. I want to discuss about Personal
Letters.

Letters are the best way of communication between people.
We must write a letter in such a way that the other person should
feel as if we are before them and speaking it all. Personal letters
means which are addressed to Friends,Relatives, Parents,Well Wishers,
Ideal Persons etc. Ofcourse I am not going to discuss about Love
Letters for it needs nothing but the understanding.

Coming to our topic,
First:
Mentioning : Dear Friend, Hai, Hello. It goes like this.
Some people have the way of calling with the newgen words like "Buddy,Gal,Guy,Yaar" and so on.But we should know whether the other person can take it easy or not.

Second:

Body of the Letter: We will write what we want to convey.
We can quarrel, we can give information, we can advice,encourage,
suggest etc., etc., But one thing I want to stress is whatever you write,
you write sincerely and be truthful and bind to what you write.
We shouldn't write anything only because the words sounds good.
We should fully know the meaning and write.

Third:

Ending: yours friendly,yours faithfully,yours sincerely etc.
But to my wonder, People use the words, "yours", "yours lovingly" etc.
"Yours" means which is completely submitting ourselves to other person.
"Yours lovingly" should only be written to elders or very young than us
or to the person whom we Love. That's all. It shouldn't be used everywhere.


To conclude, Many of you may agree or not, these are my views.
I am always particular about these matters and I strictly follow this
conduct while writing letters.

"WORDS HAVE PRESCRIBED MEANINGS AND WE SHOULD
RESPECT THEM. WE SHOULDN'T SPELL ANYTHING ONLY BECAUSE THEY SOUND GOOD WITHOUT GIVING IMPORTANCE
TO THE MEANING AND IMPACT"
