I am person who like to spend time alone. So I want to share my thoughts on "To be alone" with everyone who get bored being alone.

Can anyone say the difference between the loneliness and alone? I will say as I feel about it. Loneliness is something which is painful. To be alone, is feeling happy for such singleness. To say alone, means to enjoy the solitude. Loneliness is feeling sad to be one without anyone's company.

I want to share how to transform those lonely expressions to feeling alone. We always wish to be among friends or in a group. Friends cannot be with us all the time. If we are so habituated to be with someone or other always, that we cannot be alone without anyone's company, it will trouble us. This tendency do not help us in the long run. So how can we be happy alone?

I think I can give useful information because I am a girl who likes to be alone and spend most of my time alone.

We must develop certain hobbies. The Best among them is Reading Books. This habit broadens our mind and Books are also treated as Best Friends. Other hobbies include: Browsing the NET, Painting, Music, Dance, Sewing, Fashion Designing to Handicrafts, writing letters to friends, relatives, can introspect ourselves, enjoy the beauty of the nature, cleaning the house and set the things in order, social service, to pen our thoughts etc., These kind of activities can occupy our mind and makes our leisure a best recreation.

You just be your good friend. What do you do in a friend's company? Probably you chat something. If you want to share anything, talk to yourself.
If you want a reply, express your feelings to God. If you want to learn anything from friends, read books. When you are packed with your ideas, involved in your work, you can never feel the loneliness because you are your own friend and you wish to be alone.

Whatever you do, do to be satisfied. If the way you spend time alone do good for others, it is well and good. If it makes you only happy, then also good. You just need courage and confidence and your own world to dwell in to be happy alone.

Hi Prashanti,
What you said about the 'loneliness' and 'alone' is true. But, I think 'alone' refers to just a physical separation from others, and 'loneliness' is the state of being 'alone'. Thus, 'loneliness' always need not be painful. It can be constructive too.
The loneliness is like a yoga, the deepest levels of which can lead to self-realization.In the loneliness one tends to reach oneself more by living with one's soul closely.
Nevertheless, the degree of pragmatism in your writing deserves appreciation.

Hello Harish, I do the same but I haven't preached to anyone. I am happy being alone.
I will always try to be alone.

Then why rae you writing all this things to us? be alone & tell all these articles to urself only. Whenever you are telling something first try to implement them. Best of luck!!

What you are saying is ok....If u are working alone on your desktop or reading something , it doesnt mean that you are alone...when we are completely engaged with some work then we dont feel alone....
