People who are writers(either poetry, short stories,articles,novels,lyrics,songs etc., etc.,) atleast once might have felt or question themselves:
Why should we write? What is the purpose of publishing?

I used to react a lot for the circumstances and can empathize with the feelings of others under the given circumstances. I read NewsPaper daily(now-a-days I am not). I used to think deeply. Sometimes anger.Sometimes frustration. Sometimes a very good inspiration to do something, to question,to help etc.,etc., I used to pen them. I never wish to send them to magazines. The main reason is:
I am a coward. I can not make something open for its vocabulary or excellent usage of words, if I do not practise them.
Second thing is: What is the use of it? Who will read? If I, who is the author, cannot practise, whom else can I expect to follow the words I have written?
Third thing is: I am a bit lazy to write precisely and legibly and to send to magazines.
And also I think that these are my feelings. I will keep them with me only. Most of the time I think. If I am so deeply immersed, and emotionally infused, then only I used to write. So lots of thoughts are rocked in my mind.(heart).
Whenever I show any of my work to my friends, they encourage me a lot and question me that, why don't I send them to magazines I have written a small poem in Telugu as a reply to it:
I hide my identity as I know the advantages of anonymity.
These poems are:
the currents of my thoughts
breezes of my feelings.
Just dressed with words
still not started the motion of action.
ambitious lights are not lit.
When it happens,
I will say proudly that
I pen these poems.
Happily I convey,
these are my messages.

Those who read it used to say, if you cannot change, why not someone who read it might be influenced and follow?
One of my best friends teased me that mine are mad poems when I told him about my cousin(who is 11 yrs old then), who commented me that it is better to watch old movies than to read your poems.
I laughingly wrote to him that he has to read my poems as a punishment for teasing me. To my surprise, he reacted in a very different way, apologizing me for teasing me and said that my thoughts are 10 years more than my age.
He also said that he wishes to publish my work after 10 years from now when he could amass certain amount of money.

I thought that these writings are only a negligible part of my feelings when I compared to those which are rocked inside. I wonder what he could say,
if I pen them all. I felt the same when I read these below comments.
I can not imagine the amount of time you devoted to such
intellectual works.I congratulate you.

Afterwards, with the advent of various circumstances in my life, I enthusiased myself to pen more and more.
For the first time, I felt very happy when someone sent a message to me:

i love the poem. keep up the good work it help me get my girl back, thanks. your poem is great.

I also felt very happy when I read the comments on my "Friend Vs Lover" poem by Madam Tiana, chris and Dannyboy in your-poetry.com. In fact,
it is Madam Tiana who told me about this site and exclaimed who knows how many good friends you make in this site. True to her words, I get many good friends from this site too.

PS... I just had to read this one again! There has been only a few poems that I've read, that gave me goose bumps! This poem is one of them!(chicken skin as we locals in Hawaii call it! lol). Absolutely beautifulPeace! Aloha, Tiana

I couldn't express my feeling after reading these. What a wonder!! A poetess(can I mention myself like this?) who got response for her work can't even express her feelings. Such is the emotion.
