The Cesspool of Corruption
While I was waiting for my mechanic to finish servicing my car, I got into a conversation with a young woman also waiting for her car. We discussed a variety of topics. Among the topics we talked about was the news. She said how distraught she was about the image of Christianity these days. She told me in a distressed tone, “I am a Christian but I am not like these other people. I am nothing like them.”
Later as I reflected back on our conversation, it struck me that modern christians are split into three groups. The first group is composed of those real Christians who really desire social justice. These people are concerned with feeding the poor and healing the sick. In my view, these are real christians.
The second group are those who are clearly charlatans. These are the Rolex wearers and the gulf-stream flyers. They are in it for the money and power. They have made a Faustian deal with the devil where they have sold their souls to Satan for power and money. Mega church pastors are examples. They fleece their flock for the last dollar of a widow’s Social Security Check. They are in my view, bottom feeders and the scum of the human race.
These people take joy in fleecing the last penny, nickel and dime from the poor and offer in return “great wealth and prosperity to those who tithe.” They prey on the hopes and aspirations of their victims, parishioners and anyone else who listens to them. They are truly the cesspool of Christianity; they reside at the bottom of a black hole with the filthy human trash of those like them.
This is not to,say that there are not sincere persons who believe in the power of positive thinking. But most of the sincere ones will not try to scam the last nickel, dime or dollar from someone’s Social Security Check. Rather legitimate speakers will tell the poor to feed their children, pay their bills and act responsibly with their cash before donating their money to others.
The third group is the poor who listen to them, and give to these rotten excuses for human beings their last dollar in the hopes that they will become wealthy as well. That they will be blessed by God. They refuse to use their God-given gifts of critical thinking skills to see through the lies of the bottom-feeding second group.
My message to this third group is this. It is simple. You will never become rich like them! Never in a million years. Not if you keep giving your hard-earned money away. You see they got to the top of the Ponzi ladder before you. There is no more room at the top of the ladder for you. They got there first.
What you don’t realize is that these pieces of human trash are laughing at you. As they gleefully add up their collection plates each week, they pity you, they think of you as foolish suckers and losers, and they mock you.
My advice is to cut your losses. Stop giving to them! Use your Social Security money to feed your children! If you need to give to a charity make sure it is a legitimate one. Or give to those who truly work for social justice. Then you can laugh at them as their income withers away and banks foreclose on their overpriced homes, reprocess their planes and Audis, and they end up in bankruptcy court. Maybe even in jail!
And, I might add that the politicians that preach like Christians that prosperity can be had by the same Ponzi schemes during election fundraising are just as despicable.
We must remember that the only thing of any importance in any political campaign is not money, but placing our votes in the right place.
