Medicare is not only for the retired men and women. It is also for the disabled of any age. You may or may or may not pay for Medicare Part A. Most people automatically received Medicare Part A at no charge after they register at there local Social Security Office. But there are other circumstances where you might be required to pay. This all is regulated by your work record.

MEDICARE PART A

Medicare Part A is for inpatient hospital use. It also includes:

(1) Critical Care Hospitals

(2) Skilled Nursing Facilities

(3) Home Health Services

(4) Hospice Care

(5) Blood

(6) Miscellaneous

Medicare Part A does not include Long Term Care.

MEDICARE PART B:

Medicare Part B is for outpatient services. There is a charge for Medicare Part B.

Medicare Part B is a choice you will have to make. There are several insurance plans to choose from.

AARP seems to be the most popular.

Medicare Part B Covers:

(1) Doctor’s appointments

(2) Lab Work

(3) Ambulance Transport

(4) Ambulatory Surgery (Outpatient)

(5) Blood

(6) Durable Medical Equipment

(7) Diabetic Self-Management Training

(8) Diabetic Supplies

(9) Miscellaneous

Together Part A and B give you complete coverage depending on the Part B plan you choose. If you have any questions about Medicare and its numerous parts. Call them.
