Let’s keep this relationship confusion simple. Let’s just talk about friendship relationships. Not serious relationships between couples although you could probably use some of the ideas below in a serious relationship.
We all go through life alone. We must learn to rely upon ourselves in order to achieve whatever goal we are striving for. It might be learning how to eat with a fork and knife. To be able to tie our shoes, tell time and count money. These are some of the things we must master when we are a child before we become adults. We all go through life alone. We must learn to rely upon ourselves in order to achieve whatever goal we are striving for. It might be learning how to eat with a fork and knife. To be able to tie our shoes, tell time and count money.  These are some of the things we must master when we are a child before we become adults. When we become adults there are other goals we must achieve. We must decide what we want to do with the rest of our lives, and then do whatever is required to achieved that goal.
For instance if college is your goal, to complete four years or longer, if necessary, to become whatever you want to become in the profession of your choice. Maybe, it isn’t college but  some kind of apprentice course. This can be just as important to you considering it affects your future.
When we add relationships into the mix our lives become mixed. We can have our own special interests, hobbies of which we spend a large part of our free time. But when a friend has his/her own interests now we have a mixed basket. Without even realizing it our mind has grown, expanded with someone else’s goals. When we add more and more friends into the mix we have a hodgepodge of interests that in our imaginations we could not have once suggested in the past that you would be interested in, since it was not something you would have ever considered with out this woven basket of friends and interests.
Relationships are tightly woven like a basket. It expands the mind and body. If you are open to new ideas their isn’t anyway you can’t grow into an interesting and responsible person who care about themselves and their friends. Relationship should be cherished. It is not easy to keep a relationship fresh and active. But it can be done if you want it.
