I realized while teaching my class on E Book Formatting my student’s stories were very creative and interesting. What I was surprised at was the editing. It was horrific to say the least.
With this in mind I wrote the book, Fiction Writer Screw Ups. The mistakes were the same in each book. The dialogue was incorrect and the quotation marks were off the mark. Those were the main issue.
In my book I address these problems plus others. I take two pages out of my book from my, Christy and Brad Adventure Series, Ghost Kids Trilogy and use this as examples. This book has lots of dialogue in it and it was a perfect example to show many ways to write dialogue correctly.
