1)    “God doesn’t like it when you are mad.”-Mom told us this whenever she found that we were mad at people, places and things

2)    “We all have the same God.-Mom Did not care what religion people practiced. All mom cared about was that people believe and obey God

3)    “It’s OK; Jesus was a Jew.”"we all have the same God"-Mom Said this when she was told that her grand Daughter was marrying a man of the Jewish Faith

4)    “Stay close to God and you will never get lost.”-Mom these words came from mom’s mouth at the appropriate time

5)    “God takes care of all of his sheep.”-Mom wanted us to know that God was for everyone

6)    “My father used to say, ‘You have to be ready for when the call comes.’ He used to say that all the time.” Mom learned this from her father and passed it down to us.  She would say you never know.  Two sons 57 and 62 died suddenly in 2003 mom’s words prepared them for that day

7)    “Whatever you say or do, God knows.-mom wanted us to know that there is no such thing as a secret

8)    Jesus is my friend-Dad loved Jesus. Unlike mom, he did not care for the Church I never did find out but something happened in his life to turn him away from the Church

9)    I love to read about Jesus-Dad chose Jesus as his number one teacher, this does not mean that dad was without fault, he was just a regular guy but had a great value system that he took from Jesus

10)  God will help you when you need him-Dad told this to us all the time, especially when things got a little rough for us

11) “The mother and father of a priest are good people-Mom adored priests, thought they were the closest to God, and she thought that the parents who had priests as children were Angels

12) “Go to church.”-Mom believed that it was in the Church that answers would come to you.

13)  God has good plans for you do not worry... Dad said these words when any of us felt lost or rejected in some way

14)      When you are mad, you make up and go to the  alter. Mom believed that you should not hold grudges, and that you should pray for forgiveness, and forgiving

15)      Everybody has a heavy cross to carry  Tuchy   Mom believes everyone, is struggling to make it in life

17)      If you are mad at somebody the heart does not work right.  This was mom’s way of saying resentment and anger hurt you more than the person you are resentful towards or mad at

18)      The ones I talk too, I say you better pray.

19)      That’s one thing you have to do is decide. Mom was big on letting us make our own choices in life. With this freedom we felt free to do what worked for us

20)       You should tell the children, that they are god’s children. You should tell everyone, the parents too”

22)       “You have two roads, the narrow one and the wide one, the wide one you can do everything.” The wide road is the devil’s the narrow road is Jesus, its hard to find again Mom’s way of saying to take the high road

23)  I like to try new things all the time, I try anything.” “You gotta try new things that’s how you learn. Mom was never afraid to try new things. Mom did most of her experiments with food, and with plants and vegetables
