PAPPY’S CRACKLIN’ SKILLET CORN FRITTERS, CHEF TELL’S CHEDDAR CHEESE DROP BISCUITS and JOE’S EASY TO MAKE ONION ROLLS all proved to be simple to make, and mighty tasty to eat. JOE’S DOWN HOME COUNTRY SWISS STEAK is offered along with GRANDADDY’S ORANGE BAKED PORK CHOPS and MILFORD’S BATTERED SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN in the section titled Taylor Entrée Favorites. Included in the Passed Down Through 4 Generations offerings are engaging comments and background information regarding the author’s family of chefs. The reader will learn how the Taylor family men came to be known for their cooking after Grandfather grew up remembering and sharing tales of some of his favorite childhood foods.
