I like the small selection of line drawings following the narrative.
Seeing Pengey with his Sloan detective tie and hat, Lionel and a near miss with a ship out at sea help flesh out what the imagination has not yet developed.
A few smaller sketches at the beginning and ending of chapters would also
be fitting for a child targeted book.
Despite many close calls and tense situations; the troubles presented on the
pages of The Further Adventures of Pengey Penguin are resolved in a
positive manner with a satisfying joyful ending.
Another thorough review of the delightful Pengey Penguin series of children's books. The last time I saw a penguin in New York City was in the Batman movies and this penguin was anything but cuddly and nice. ;-)
