Authors Rohan and Mohan Perera, Ro and Mo’s WHAT IS MAN is 142 pages teeming with awareness, reflection, and commendation drawn in large part from their professional and personal experience.

The writers reveal to Readers that the World of Ro and Mo, a self-awareness and enablement movement; founded on teachings of Christ was created in 2008.

This manuscript was finished preceding the demise of Rohan, lost to a rare lung ailment, Ro deceased in 2013.  Mo has released this book as an honor to Ro, their older brother, and for the use of those who read it.

What is Man (with reference to Psalms 8)  We learn man is but a conscious spirit, mortal and finite is the son of man, and Love is the character of life.

Introduction the writers indicate that for many, life is only discomfort and anguish, even so, they hearten the reader to seek to learn the meaning of life. 

Prologue  The writers reveal that the philosophies theorized in this book and other mystical works they have penned are an extension of the voyage to self-awareness commenced by themselves about age eleven.

Early on the lads considered their close bond to be due to their being twins, in time they came to appreciate it was something more, something deeper than simply being twins.

7             Love and the Perfect considerable of the world is a pretty harsh place, most of us spend a good bit of time looking for the picture-perfect love 

8             Energy of Love absence of divine dynamism in humans causes the character to begin longing for physical energy

9             God VS Devil how we live, and achieve our mindfulness brings about good, and also bad

10          Sin and Sex it is essential we recognize that sex is not sin, and it is not a problem.  The dissolute ego does not love, it exists for itself

I found What is Man to be a captivating read, well worth the time to read through, and re read again,  and to carry along to read bits and pieces as time allows.

I appreciated the Biblical references, dialog postulating scientific and provocative principles gathered from a diversity of canons, disciplines, philosophies and concepts.

Quotes from countless of the world’s great and lesser thinkers, journalists and historians all serve to bring deeper connotation to our lives.

With each concept the writers present are varied philosophies, before then leading back again to the Biblical underpinning of our lives.

I received an ARC for review, and while I do not keep every book I receive, I will be keeping this one and referring to it again and again.
