Writer Tannock offers a dandy compilation of tales and The writing is good

Exorcism of Muse is an anthology of short tales by writer Tannock. As with all collections there is a story or two that stand out and others that do not. There is something sure to tickle the interest of every reader. Several of the tales offer a peek into some interesting biological forms others contain a refreshing non military theme. The bar set ‘Beetle,’ ‘Grenade,’ and ‘The Lilith Strategem featuring a sexual theme are set off with ‘The Guardian of the Bow’ a semi love story where a man with issues from his past gets help from the owner of The Bashir café in ‘The Guardian of the Bow.’ Other tales include: ‘Deprogromonster in which a corporation produces strange sluglike creatures for their own miscreant purposes. In reading ‘Grinder’ we discover a stranded test pilot who sets about developing physical incarnations of aspects of his subliminal self. ‘Drop,’ ‘CancerBug’ and ‘Bingo,’ offer more of Writer Tannock’s artistic bent. Adventures await the reader in Writer Tannock’s interesting offering . Exorcism of Muse. Tannock has managed to meld gripping fascination for the bizarre, Lothum the Deprogromonster will hold the reader spellbound, poignant pathos, and plain good fun. Tannock has crafted an entertaining set of tales filled with bizarre, perhaps plausible and the downright impossible or, is it? We are taken inside the mind of a human bomb, meet a dreamslayer with the rather homespun name Pete, and learn ‘Bingo’ is not at all as we had thought. The writing is good, filled with enough detail and engaging characters to keep the reader interested and presented in an absorbing manner here in the Universe with but one mind. Tannock takes the reader to the rainforest as a part of the Northern Clean Air Preservation Alliance then offers a peek into eudaemonism gone askew before introducing us to a giant Ocotpus. .
