Now we wait!
If you were at work Friday, Aug. 15, at noon, you would have missed the Bigfoot Hunters Press Conference on CNN News. And if you were watching the local news programs at 5 and 6 P.M. you would have gotten just a few seconds information on the Conference.
I received an email-newsletter early Friday morning and knew of the scheduled conference and so I was glued to my chair, waiting for what I was sure would be the announcement of the "find of the century." The two men that claim to have "found" the Bigfoot body, Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, in my estimation came across as believable enough. I, after all, believe the men should be paid handsomely if they have indeed "found" a body of Bigfoot in the mountains of northern Georgia.
Now, the fact that Whitton and Dyer would only speak to Tom Biscardi, and in fact claim to have turned the body over to him, puzzles me. Biscardi does not have a sterling reputation in the field of Bigfoot hunting. Idaho State anthropologist and Bigfoot investigator, Jeffrey Meldrum told Scientific American this: "I've had interacations with Tom Biscardi in the past, and based on that history, I would say that anything he is involved in is suspect."
Whitton and Dyer claim to be novices where Bigfoot is concerned and say they didn't know who to call. They just knew they wanted to benefit from their "find." And really, who can blame them for that?
The body is now in the hands of this Tom Biscardi. He will oversee scientists in examining the corpse. And so we wait . . . .
I had a couple friends let me know about the conference by way of phone and email. I thank you. Again I believe it is just a matter of time before we get the straight of this animal.
And, if you stumble upon a dead Bigfoot--don't call me--call anybody but me!
