On the internet, with each passing day, it seems more sites become available on the subject, Bigfoot/Sasquatch. People! Will we ever find out the truth about this animal? One would think with all the researchers we would have some solid proof by now. This leads me to the conversation I had, just last evening, with my husband. We were discussing those two from Georgia that claimed to have dragged a Bigfoot corpse from the woods and kept it on ice in a freezer. As you know, it was a hoax. My point is, what would one do, if indeed he ran upon a corpse in the forest and wished to reap the monetary benefits of being the first to deliver the animal? Umm, let’s see, the animal of course would be growing smellier by the second. So, he would need some way to keep it from deteriorating further. He would, of course,   acquire a large freezer. That done, he would let it be known that he had a corpse of Bigfoot/Sasquatch. And most importantly, he would let it be known, that he intended to make as much money as he possibly could from his “find.” He would probably notify a major news organization, such as CNN. Of course, here is where he’d run into a problem. He would probably never hear from them. (Remember, CNN gave the two Georgian hoaxers much valuable airtime, seemingly believing their claim of having a Bigfoot body.) So perhaps he would remember this and start locally with the nearest TV station. He most likely would show just a few newsmen the animal to substantiate his claim.

       If it were me, I’d retain a lawyer to handle, in a business-like manner, any offers that the media would attract.  And, I would do everything possible not to lose the opportunity to claim any money involved. I’m sure there are plenty of people who would rip this opportunity right out of my clenched fists. As much as I hate saying it, if I did have a Bigfoot body, I probably wouldn’t have done too many things differently than our hoaxers from Georgia. I’m sure they said to each other, “What if we had a body? What would we do to get the most offers for it?” And then they said, “Let’s do it. Let’s pretend . . . ” Well, you know the rest.
