If trust is the foundation of every healthy relationship, what can we do when our trust has been shattered?

I woke up at 2:30 am this morning with a yearning to write. I got up and wrote my thoughts down and then went back to bed. I mean, I went back to bed after I posted the article that I had just written on my website:

www.beyond-abuse.org I would love to print it here, but my web tech assures me that Google will "punish" me if I duplicate the article. Therefore, I am doing the next best thing, by posting a link to my website for those of you who, like me, have found that trust does not always come easy.

I read your article and see that we are on the same page here. I fell in to the trap of re victimization a couple of times after escaping the clutches of a rather demonic father and sociopathic husband. It is very difficult to trust but I have learned to do just that, and to place my confidence in the One who holds my future. Thank you for this article.
