Linda’s honest telling of her story encourages the reader to challenge the primary fear of those who were traumatized as children, that the threat of disclosure would reveal the child as worthless and sinful, unlovable by their family and even God. This book shows the reader how to reclaim the innocence and sense of worth stolen unfairly by childhood abuse. Trust can be rebuilt, especially in oneself, and then grow to include others and the Divine.
