How many times in your life have you wanted to start all over? Maybe you would like to renew and old friendship, start over on an existing relationship or even start on a fresh and new “open” relationship with God.

Every time we knell down to pray and ask God to forgive us that is exactly what we are doing. Every moment of everyday we have the opportunity to start again with the most important person in our lives…GOD!

How special we are that he is willing to forgive us anytime we ask…how special we are that he loved us so much that he gave his son to die for our sins, just so we could begin each day anew with him.

With the start of a new year, I hope to share many of the obstacles in my life that I have had to overcome with the help of my heavenly father. This will not be an easy task for me and I hope that God will lead my writing so that I can help someone else the way he has helped me so many times during the course of my life. God has NEVER let me down, and I have never had to worry that he was not going to be there for me when I need him the most.

Most of us like to have New Years resolutions, and I find that I usually don’t keep them as I should. This year my ONLY resolution is to put God first in my life and seek his will for my life.

If we could just do this…many of our day to day worries would decrease, because we could rest assured that God is in control. I have a very difficult time when it comes to relying on other people. I have been let down so many times in my life that it creates a hardship when I try to let go and “Let God take over.”

WHY???

We all know in our heart that God has a plan for our lives and we just have to be willing to step back and let him work. We have to be willing to follow him and to obey him, but IF we do that, he assures us that all things will work together for the good of our lives.

There are many things that I need to change in my life, but the one thing that I am going to work the hardest for is to let God be in complete control of my life. He knows the future, he knows what I have ahead of me and we only cause ourselves unnecessary pain, worry and frustration when we try to go it alone.

Would you join with me on this wonderful adventure called life that God has ahead of us? Would you commit your life and ways unto God? If we would only do this, then we will embark on the most wonderful journey of our lives. We can actually be in the presence of the one that made us, the one that loves us above all else and the one that has a plan for our lives…his plan.
