Mr. Obama,

At the age of 74 I do feel I still have much to offer my country. Certainly as a father and grand-father. Certainly as someone who has been on both sides of the political spectrum. And as someone who has benefitted from his government on more than one occasion with respect to health care.

I can also claim to have been on both sides of the wealth and welfare situation. Meaning I have faced good and bad times and took what I earned from successes as well as the pain of some failures.

And, though I wished it otherwise, I stand today as what many people would consider a failure. I have nothing to show for my efforts financially but a social security check. What a shame.

But there is much more to a man than what money he has. And it is this part of my life I choose to share with my fellow citizens.

Mr. Obama, never in all my years have I given up as a man or a member of a family. And never in all my years have I felt the government needed to step in and control my life because I couldn’t. When I was without food I got another job, when I felt there was no place for my wife and children to sleep, I reached out to my family and friends, because they knew I would do the same for them. When I returned to the employed I payed them back what they would permit me to. I managed not to be dependent through my faith and through the well wishes of my family and friends.

I have done many things I am not proud of, and many more things I can feel I did, not to have pride, but to be proud of myself for making the effort. There is a difference I would hope you would know.

Something else I have never done, Mr. Obama, is to tell my family I was going to do something and then deliberately, with obvious intent, do the exact opposite. Can you say that, sir, considering that you should feel much as a father to the citizens of this country.

How do you justify, Mr. Obama, the deliberate destruction of the American dollar? How do you sleep knowing every time you apologize to a country like China, with their human rights record, you lower our integrity around the world? How do you stand alongside the President of Mexico and allow him to debase Arizona citizens as if they were not worth the fact that you and your administration, along with others in the last fifteen years haven’t got the backbone to do what you have to know is right with our borders?

And, Mr. Obama, do you really believe with all the intelligence of your administration that the only solution for a major credit crisis was too actually make it worse? That is, of course, unless you really wanted to collapse the strongest country in the world and make sure its citizens were made to suffer for being able to use their individuality to persevere under the most trying of times? You know, like in the gruesome two world wars, which were fought for the freedom of the free world.

Do you really believe, Mr. Obama, that by forcing debt on our children and our children’s children that we are going to be good little pacifist-Marxist ideologues? And that’s really an oxymoron if there ever was one. None of your heroes succeeded at anything without guns and bayonets to force their will on the masses for a style of government that cannot be nurtured, only enforced. Just ask Cass Sustein, wm. Ayers, Van Jones, or any of the various shades of red in your entourage.

Or maybe you know we won’t accept that and will resist to the last man standing to preserve our liberty even after you have debased us and stripped us of what you think is the limit of our will. Will that satisfy you? Apparently you are not fazed. Your arrogance and refusal to consider anything but your opinions, and the opinions of your yes men demonstrates your lack of knowledge of the American will.

Mr. Obama, sir, you have sadly misjudged the vast majority of us. But then again, we have seen others in the world who thought they could contain and control what makes us the great citizens of the greatest government ever conceived by God AND man.

We will stand up openly without backstabbing you or your kind of single minded ignorance, without hateful accusations of the kind you have tried to divide us with, without labeling ourselves as Democrats or Republicans, and we will simply take our country back without apologies to you or to your global friends.

You, sir, have sadly misjudged us. Not to worry though, WE all know that the only judgement that counts is that which comes from a place you don’t believe exists, that is the Kingdom of God.

As to your intent to trample OUR constitution, you might find what you think is a living breathing document you can change at your will, is very much living and breathing, inside the hearts of real Americans, sir. And on that issue you are going to find that, regardless of color, many of us are willing to die for our heritage.

Enjoy your golf games, your 24/7 campaigning, your hobnobbing with those you seem to think you must bow to while representing OUR country. We have had our fill and we can wait for your fifteen minutes of fame to fizzle out. We are very good at rebuilding other peoples messes.
