I will always ask you -- how much to you really want to win? Are you determined to do what it takes to rise above mediocrity? For sure, there’s a modus operandi that has to be adhered to. You MUST be disciplined enough to balance those aforementioned setbacks, obstacles and shortfalls not to break you before you can muster the strength to keep and stay on an even and steady keel. Finding a good idea, stroking it and doing the necessary research are the genesis to generate any momentum for your journey. Those good ideas are the first steps in transforming an entrepreneurial way of thinking for the opportunity to not only do business but to excel in it. Desire and creativity can be great partners in lieu of not giving yourself a chance to compete on a level playing field. All you want is that business opportunity and adjunct help to make it happen. To be successful in generating or finding a chance at it, you’d need to keep your eyes open wide enough to not only see the vision, but to value the need to think positive no matter what. This is nothing short of having confidence and perseverance working for you on all cylinders. 

I’ve often wondered how our ancestors were so successful in their day without the modern-day accoutrements we take for granted today despite them being persecuted and maligned every step of the way. Then again, in their ‘modern-day’ era they did what they had to do with what they had to work with, and it didn’t diminish their dreams at all! They persevered and prospered. You must do the same. An idea no matter how good, real or imagined, was still a tool at the end of the day that need to be developed and transformed into a viable business opportunity. It’s so easy to falter at times by not stretching and maintaining a ‘can-do’ attitude that can be extrapolated into any realized goal. Thinking big is about never letting go of the dream for subsequent posturing and positioning to become part of your plan to stay the course. Big ideas and grandiose plans shouldn’t be compromised with stalling tactics, or being skittish out of the gate. You want your journey to be as smooth as it can be where you can weather storms along the way and not lament the roads not taken. Remember also that big dreams begin not with just wishful thinking, but with steady resolve and attainable policies and procedures for your dreams. It’s a process with practical procedures.

You must have the right mindset for it all to come together, though. Years go when I studied the craft of writing I frustrated myself to no end because I couldn’t adequately get my point across for clarity. I lacked confidence and was reticent and reluctant. Along the way I learned the importance of, and the need for having the art of articulation. I learned too, that success was an attitude that affirmed the value of what was to be achieved. With the right mindset you too can learn how it can identify who you are and the things that define your purpose. It’s also an attitude where aptitude can keep you open to new ways to reinvent yourselves for continuity. Choosing a career, a business venture, or any professed goal will only work for you if you bolster your confidence by never giving up on your dream(s). You will forever look for ways to enhance your knowledge base. You will most likely want to be your own boss and make your own decisions. You will be vociferous and confident as Ali was, motivated by Malcolm and Martin and have faith initiatives like Daniel because the glory you give to God will not be compromised and you will know to pray. Moreover, you will know that success can’t be just a goal as it is having the wherewithal that it can happen -- as long as you continue to dream and think BIG!
