Gaining favor doing the right thing in a turbulent world.
The title of this essay ‘For This I say to You, Do Not Worry,’ was taken from a passage that Jesus used to generate timely conversation with His disciples just before dying for us on the cross. Check out Matthew 6:25-34. There’s an intrinsic message that we all can learn from. Just like we are prone to do today, back in the day Jesus relayed this message that He wanted to make sure it was duly understood. Even. As we experience Coronavirus in a pandemic way, we can all use spiritual mandates. Along with the scripture listed above, Psalms 91 is just as potent and viable. In it, the Lord admonishes the people of Israel to have faith during pestilences and plagues. The key to it all is having faith and being obedient. Nevertheless, in certain points in our lives we get anxious about things that affect our behavior patterns in various ways…we tend to hope for better days, better ways to cope, for perhaps new leases on life…even for escape routes from worrying about what tomorrow brings. We may be in a state of flux, not knowing our fate from day to day. Could this be you? Have you been there and done any of what I just shared with you? I must admit to you that at some point in my life, I’ve experienced this and more.
Yes, my world not too long ago was upside down. Because I had physical impairments, I ached and hurt feeling sorry for myself where those various setbacks didn’t give me closure to what was needed in a time of my trials. It was when I was on my knees that having my head to the sky began to mean something to me. What do I mean by that? I found a way to look past problematic issues because when things happen to you that you can’t control someone bigger than you gives a clear path to redeeming value. Let me stop here, because it’s not about me…It’s you that should hear this message. Before I go any further, know that the scriptures touted here have a deeper meaning specifically if you allow your mind to persevere for purpose; for it’s when we reach the plateau of being labeled true believers in Christ is when you position yourselves being progenitors of what the Lord has in store for you. I Say this despite worrisome nags and tattered fabric without ties that bind. I’m not sure whether anything spiritual pertains to you, or whether any of what was mentioned you identify with, but where you are now it’s easy to feel that your predicament can come to this. I’m here to give you solutions and resolutions to bring about an evolution. Yes, there’s a new way of allowing you to feel good about yourselves, even as you feel the hurt that may afflict you. It’s okay to convalesce where you are, but while your head is positioned in an upward direction you are hopefully positioned to allow God to shoulder your problems and have unyielding faith.

All of the above are but a few entities that may enrich your lives. God knows your heart and uses His own sense of timing for Grace. You should know within yourselves whether it is time for you to turn a different leaf for new leases on life. I can adamantly say that I’m ready, and looking for others to transition with me. Emulating the Lord, I say to you--- don't worry as long as you're ready!
