China Interview that took place Jan 2002, about the new Writersmuster and new The Legend of Evermore short novel

Taken place at Yahoo! Chat from China to Australia. Jade from China haves this interview.

In January Chris Ticehurst done his first interview to talk of himself, his new career and his future goals for his writing. This was taken from a member from China.

Interviewer: When did you start writing?

Chris: I started at about seven. I have always like writing since then.

Interviewer: Who gave you this idea to write?

Chris: I thought of it myself really. I just thought writing was fun. Maybe school helped me like writing. But I doubt it.

Interviewer: Who is your favorite writer?

Chris: I don’t have a favorite writer. But the Lord of the Rings author is great. I have favorite ones all the time.

Interviewer: Why is he your favorite author at this time? And which book do you like best?

Chris: Tolken the author created a new form of elfish language. That isn’t easy to do. I admire that from him. I have only read the first Lord of the Rings novel. So I’ll reserve my judgement on the following two.

Interviewer: Oh and your book. Is it special to the other novels? Do you think that is?

Chris: Well I think my novels are special in the way of how they are different to each other. I try to create something new and exciting each time.

Interviewer: I see

Interviewer: So which book is your favorite?

Chris: You mean one of mine?

Interviewer: Yes.

Chris: It’s hard to say. I like them all for different reasons. But the Legend of Evermore stands out as the first book I have done. I got really close to the characters in it. The saddest part of writing is when you end a good novel.

Interviewer: (laughs)

Interviewer: Do you have a teacher of writing?

Chris: You mean a mentor?

Interviewer: Yeah.

Chris: I look up to all types of people. People who are strong and never give up on life. From people like Shakespeare to famous doctor, past leaders to the latest stars of today like Michael Jackson.

Interviewer: Why Michael?

Chris: He’s been through a lot sine his childhood. He still haves that innocent child in him that people would of loved to have kept.
I can say we are related in the way of not having a real good childhood. As saying. ‘ Have you seen my childhood?’

Interviewer: What are your plans for the future?

Chris: I want to release The Legend of Evermore on time opn the 1st of April Hoping that everyone in the club have done their little part to help me and us make this first novel special. The one that starts them all.
