I welcome you into the year 2009 in the name of the most precious Lord. The figure 9 is a symbol of full term. Pregnacies are conceived and delivered in an ideal situation within 9 full months. I sincerely pray that you will conceive and deliver all your dreams this same year. None of your dreams that are in line with God's will shall be aborted in Jesus name. Amen!
Having welcomed you into this great year, I believe my piece would arouse your interest. I wrote a blog recently and I received a response from a reader who wanted to know whether my blogs would be about God alone or about me. My answer is quite simple. My blogs would solely be about God- my maker, the awesome creator of heaven and the earth. The Bible says concerning Him in Romans 17:28 that "In Him we live, move and have our being..." He made you and I from the dust of the earth, and he breathed into the nostrils of man and from that moment man became a living soul.
If He (God) decides to take the breath that He freely gives us, we are nothing. It therefore baffles me when people- the works of His hands are thrilled when blogs are devoted to artworks, sculptures, trees, animals, designs, and other works of God's creation but they are amazed when blogs are being devoted to God-the creator of all things.
I sincerely pray that all men would come to the full knowledge of Him. All the confusion, disappointment, wars, agonies etc. that we have today will not be there if we truly know Him.
You need to know who He is. Comfort sometimes does not allow us to know that He exists until circumstances push us to find out who He is, and that could be painful.
I enjoin you all to seek Him today while He is near you.
