Changing peoples lives, by helping them to change the way they think about themselves and others with a new attitude toward a more fulfilling life.
I speak to groups all over New Jersey and people often ask " How do you handle things, when it seems every day something else goes wrong? I use very powerful analogies showing that what seems wrong or bad, can be an opportunity in disguise. I tell a story of a farmer whos horse ran away. He told his neighbor about it, and the neighbor replied, "AWW what bad luck" The farmer answered, "Good luck or bad luck, one never knows." A year later, the horse returned to the farm, with 3 ponies in tow. The farmer told his neighbor, we replied, "What good luck." To that the farmer said, "Good luck, bad luck, one never knows." A week later the farmers son was trying to ride one of the ponies, and it threw the son off and he broke his leg. The farmer told his neighbor, who said, "AWW What bad luck." The farmer again replied, "Good luck or bad luck, one never knows." Right around that time, the Vietnam war broke out, and the military was drafting all the young men in that village to go to war, and since the son had a broken leg, he was excused. This is one example of how adversitiy can become an opportunity. I have other analogies that help people see their losses as insignificant, and give greater value to their gains.
Not many people know their reason for living, but I know mine. I was actually brought back from the brink of death in a car accident, to use the tragedy of my life to help other people realize they arent beat.. This book is filled with life changing philosophies written in easy to memorize, poetic verse. People that have this book already told me it helped to change their lives.
