An article (and a dream/story within) by Sha'Tara

    If We Would Understand

[expressions of a burning woman - Sha'Tara]

If we would understand ourselves in relation to our world, or worlds, we must learn how to play our own parts to the music of the spheres; how to weave our piece of the fabric in a recognizable and meaningful way; how to ride the painted dragons through the Nexus; how to fly with angels and demons, for both are stores of knowledge and wisdom; in short and simply, we must give ourselves  purpose, then give ourselves utterly to that purpose.

Our previous teachers, masters, leaders, what have they done for us?  Precious little.  What have they done to us?  Enslaved us to their ways until we have practically destroyed an entire world!  Until we became so crass we can accept the death of millions with barely a shrug, hardly a memory.  That we can see, certainly.  What is not so clear is whether we have a choice, now, today, to break free of that slavery and write our own story, one that will fit the fabric of space time; one which no one, nothing, can ever unravel or delete.

There are basic "things" one must reject and accept to arrive at a place of meaningful personhood in relation to all those "others" whom we love and fear; whom we know or deny; whom we serve or curse.  We must obviously stop thanking them when they dump their garbage on us.  That's a start.  But we must also acknowledge that they possess, by right of might, a certain kind of power over us.  As a policeman has legitimate power over you only when you break the law, so it must be with those Powers.  We must remind them of their place just as much as we remind ourselves of our own place.

In this process we lose our old fears and closed-minded love for these entities.  Then we can go about our business in a whole new way.  Once the mind is free of over-controlling forces it quite naturally seeks to establish itself as the new force.  Nature abhors a vacuum.  The letting go of the bad gods and their equally bad representatives will create a long-awaited space for the freed mind to explore and create her own world in.  She will fill it with her own creations based on how she observed the world(s) in her dreams, visions and imaginations while still constricted by the forces that held her in thrall.

Feeling young, new, eager, she will shoot out in every direction looking for fresh input from places she was never allowed to know existed in her slave status.

Everything changes.

Now you will hear and understand the voices of the dead - for they whisper still.  You will hear and understand the voices of the living - for they cry to be heard by a compassionate heart.  And you will hear and learn to interpret the voices of the spheres, of your true world, the one you had been denied access to until now.  You will understand that knowledge comes from experience and that experience translates to taking responsibility for everything or into destroying everything you touch.  You will understand that you cannot die, nor can you be pigeon-holed into a pre-arranged world of rewards or punishments, for that world is the Matrix.  You will understand that the concept "enemies" is invalid, as is that of faith and hope.  For here, whom should you fear?  No one.  What should you be waiting for?  Nothing.  And whatever you hope for, you know that only you can bring it about.

Now you understand.

Christmas night, considering the number of power nodes attached to this concept, should prove different than others in bringing a new sense of empowerment.  Knowing this, I entered into a dream that said much in its symbolism.  In a mirror image of Earth, I was driving along a highway until I came to a familiar place.  I saw a school bus, gleaming yellow, parked, empty, on a sagging jetty over the waters of a bay.  It was getting dark.  I parked my vehicle and got out.  It was Christmas eve and the air was clear, crisp and cold but in my awareness I was neither dressed not naked and felt no cold.  I walked down to the water of the bay, intent on going for a midnight swim, only that was my feeling, not my purpose.

Along the shore were scattered houses with a few lights in their windows.  Some were partially obscured by trees and shadows from near by mountains.  All that was silhouetted black as the full moon was shining brightly in the north, circled by two magnificent thin silver rings.  I turned my back to the shore and walked into the water.  It was body warm and came to my knees.  As I continued walking south, then south-west, a man came out of a house and threw a stick (a piece of tree root actually) in my direction.  Instantly I knew he was throwing it for his retriever to go after and bring back, which the dog did.  I began to wonder about the wisdom of walking out there with no stick should I be attacked by "wild dogs" then smiled at the silliness of it.  I was beyond such things and I knew it.

As I walked farther into the water it became shallower until I was walking on wet sand, then on dry sand.  Now I was running over large sand dunes and here and there in the light of the moon I could see pools of water solidly frozen over.  The water had gone and I thought, well, of course, it's winter.  The water levels drop in winter.  I felt a twinge of disappointment.  I came to a black wall of frozen sand (it was in the shadow of the moon) and saw below it the remnant of the channel that had drained the bay as fall and winter advanced.  I turned and looked at the moon.  Far in the distance, north and east, I saw a few headlights moving along a road.  Last minute seekers.

Then I concentrated on my purpose for being there, in that empty place, alone.

And I knew.  I knelt in the frozen sand and visualized this world, this planet, this Earth.  I took it, all of it, in my arms and whispered into the night, "It won't hurt anymore.  Everything will change and you will be well.  No more suffering for your children."  I knew, in the dream, the truth of this.  And now, looking at these words, remembering the feelings I felt, I know this to be a "node" I've created, a reality that nothing can ever erase.  All I need do now is continue weaving my pattern into the fabric and singing my part in the choir.

The gift of the Magi.  The offering of the "Christ" to the "Masses."  It's in the dream; in the mirror image.

I love the way you articulate your dream - seemingly with ease. Very difficult to do. This article comes full circle with a lesson. I enjoyed the read!

"I THINK, THEREFORE I AM!" Should this not be sufficient?

According to the book, and movie, THE SECRET, energy arracts like energy. ERGO, if we think negative thoughts, we will attract negative impulses. Conversely, if positive thoughts occupy one's mind, then positive, or 'good' things should happen. Like everything else in this thing we call LIFE, there will probably be exceptions - GET OVER IT!

Since 1989, I have buried a Mother, and two Sisters, all who suffered from Alzheimer's! Although ALIVE, when one does not even know who they are, let alone who you are... the thinking process is GONE! When this phenomena occurs, DEATH RESTORES DIGNITY!

If there is such a thing as a HEAVEN, or HEREAFTER, then I find comfort in visualizing ALL MY FAMILY PREDECESSORS - gathered around an upright piano, SINGING THEIR HEARTS OUT! IF NOT ----- OH, WELL! I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT, DO I?

Many are ALIVE, able to THINK, but WASTE valuable TIME searching for unfathomable answers. Not unlike Don Quixote, to my mind. Whether the true objects be WINDMILLS, or REAL DRAGONS --- it MATTERS NOT! THE QUEST WAS FUTILE TO BEGIN WITH!

LIVE - LOVE - and LAUGH - as if there is NO TOMORROW....

ALL ELSE IS FRUITLESS... Tom.

Indeed so, 'Nature cannot abide a vacuum' and this is the key to understanding our responsive completeness; the key to everything.'Experience is our teacher - True - but tedious and pedantic and never enough time before being sent 'back to jail'. If one wishes to become a Doctor or a Plumber or any discipline besides. It's quicker and more complete to simply learn the information. We 'would understand' who we are if we choose to learn it. But, we wan't to experience and therein lies the risk of ignorance. This is a good piece Regis, a little long-winded, had to read it twice just to glean the above. Happy new Year. Tom

I believe we have to seek the good within ourselves and others around us first, once we find it then we will more fully understand the facits of good and evil that exist in the world and how to identify them. I think the reason that this is so hard for some people is that we were taught that the path to good and rightiousness is too complex for us to follow on our own, so we need to believe in something greater than ourselves to get us there.

I don't believe this, I believe the only entities that are greater than us are pure truth, pure good and pure love and they are already

a part of us.We need only to excercise them every day.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and thoughts and your open mind.

My cousin and I were fishing on a man's pond on a Sunday. He did say we could fish there, but he caught us fishing on a Sunday. He thought this was a damnation. Told us we're going to Hell. We left and found another pond to fish in that same day.
People can have their own ideas about what is wrong and right. I have mine.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom Regis.
