An Explanation...

I read the comments on AD to the essay, "Limits and Boundaries Within God." I realize some thoughts I express seem particularly disturbing for some people.
I can see where some of my statements about God, or within that particular reality, can set believers on edge. That is as it should be. What kind of believers would not discern my digging in their heart/mind? But perhaps what some fail to appreciate is my purpose: to strengthen their relationship with God, not the other way. One of many little "jobs" I get to do while passing through your world.
For the record, this entity, Sha'Tara, does not believe "IN" God because I have met Him and spoken with Him on many occasions. Therefore, for me, God exists. It is no longer a matter of faith, or hope, or religious exercise. That is, of course, as it should be for those who choose to walk the path of the avatar. It is a difficult enough journey without having to apologize for what we know and have the courage to share.
As was obliquely pointed out, the sun has properties which are necessary for life, others that can harm life. So it is with God. How God and I maintain a relationship; to what end, that is for each of us to know. That is of no consequence to any others. It is a private matter that spans many lives, many worlds, many dimensions; a one-to-one that has evolved through a great many misunderstandings, with many sorrows and many more to come.
To the question, "What is ISSA?"
It is a simple acronym from the words "Intelligent, Sentient, Self-Aware." It is also the name given to Jesus when he traveled through the north of what we now call "India". It is also the name of one of my teachers, El Issa, once an Earthian shaman or healer, now of Altaria, our adoptive home world.
What thoughts I express as parables (in essay format), in short story, more rarely in free form poetry, (some of which are posted by Regis on AD( are meant to be understood by any resident of planet earth who considers him-erself to qualify as an intelligent, sentient and self aware being. Anyone not afraid to consider all possibilities without feeling they must to let go of the rope they are currently hanging on to. No true Avatar would ever ask anyone to leap blindly over any precipice. Indeed, our prime directive is to prevent such a disaster from happening regardless of the cost to ourselves.
Everything offered in the "thoughts" is intended to help those who read them develop increased awareness of environment, of life and of purpose. For those who truly believe, the thoughts will challenge such belief (your spiritual immune system) and exercise it, preventing it from atrophy. For I say to you who believe in God, in Jesus Christ, who have truly known the Holy Spirit's presence within, "Remember your martyrs who were crucified, or died torn apart by wild beasts rather than denying their Lord. Yes, remember. That is why you believe today, not because your world offers you protection and safety in numbers. Beware easy believism. Beware if you are accepted. Beware even more if the world can't tell you apart from others. For the world is ever the enemy of truth. Besides, we would never refuse your help in pushing back the tide of greed expressed in deadly narcissism and mindless hedonism currently swallowing your world."

It's nice to read a clarification on your belief in God, which really does not come through in previous articles. Having said that, you shouldn't feel the need to explain your opinions and beliefs further. When I write something/anything, I know in advance that not everyone will like it or agree with it. That scenario goes hand in hand with being a writer. It is impossible to please everyone, as I'm sure you know. As I commented before, your articles are ALWAYS well written and that is the most important aspect when one attempts to share their work. Lots of people have unique and creative ideas but that doesn't make each of them a writer. What makes them a writer is the ability to express those ideas in an understandable format which does not put one to sleep. You have that ability and more! What always strikes me about your articles is the confident voice they are written with - a voice that is explorative, yet sure of who they are. I'd love to see you duck out from Regis' wing and open your own page/site with that same confidence, because you surely have the talent to do so. Despite posted comments to the contrary, I believe many readers think Regis is this 'burning woman' - hats off to him for not caring what people think; a true heart of gold. If your own page is not possible, perhaps post a picture with each article? It's odd to read such deep thoughts and not know 'who' they come from. When we post our pics, we cannot be concerned with who thinks what about them. I don't care who thinks I'm ugly or fat...it's my voice I'm projecting. The pic just helps to show where the thoughts originate from and make the work feel less anonymous (and clears confusion...in this case). Sorry if I'm out of line, but please consider it. I mean this respectfully. Love and Hugs:)
