[thoughts from ~burning woman~ by Sha’Tara]
For some time now I have been emailing back and forth with a tenacious and difficult person who happens to live “on the other side of the world” so to speak, but having lived in the “west” and now residing in the “east” has a broad grasp of both, western and eastern ideologies and makes excellent use of it. We have not been getting along at all but sparred away, hoping that at some point when our well-honed swords clashed there would be an enlightening spark. But the spark did not come from the swords, it came when I got a chance to rest mine and think up new moves. It became obvious to me that I would never be able to defeat this swordsmaster, and neither would I be. It would be a draw and we would go our separate ways, always wondering, and that wasn’t good enough for me. There was too much potential in this sizzling display of (s)wordsmanship.
During a rest I took the time to catch up on other things, to look up terms and ideas that had cropped up during our exchanges. I needed one of two things: to be convinced that she was RIGHT and I was WRONG or vice versa. There had to be a resolution, for in my mind, we couldn’t be both right and both wrong. So, what was the dueling about? Life, and how it “should” be lived. Is it perfect, as it is (my opponent’s view) or is it truly messed up and requiring fixing (my view)?
Then I had a dream.
Dreams aren’t new territory to me. I live in dreams for much of the time, in imagination, in astral travel, in observing. This dream was no different than thousands of other dreams, but this time my work with my opponent became a part of it. Her understanding, her “belief” about life was in this dream and it opened up a new vista for me. I realized, not without some shock, that the world of dreams, the concepts, the stuff that happened “there” was nothing less than what is known as the subconscious. Suddenly, this astral place was real, and it made sense to me. It was no longer something you pass through blindly to erupt somewhere else in “reality” but a world of its own. Not just a world, but that which undergirds everything we know, feel, do, i.e., all of life. This is the famous or infamous “All that Is” and here, there is no right or wrong, good or evil, hot or cold. Of importance to those who endure earth’s terrible conditions, the common suffering in pain and ignorance, there is none of that here. There is no judgment and there is no time, therefore you won’t find “eternity” here, but you can easily sense infinity.
You could call it “God” or the place of God. “Heaven” if you want to know, is here, but there is no hell here, and how could there be?. While I “lived” there I could understand what some people try to express when they overcome the great religious taboo and goad themselves to dare say, “I am God” because, really, there is no difference between “me” and God in this place because there is no sin here. There is completion and perfection here. Even absolutes can coexist here, and that is a possibility I would have denied with my dying breath because I am a creature, not of the astral, but of the fractal. Yes, earth, the universe and whatever endless expanse of the multiverse we may imagine, or sense, is all fractal construct. Real to us who live in them, but not here, in the subconscious. This is a whole different concept for life.
I should mention, in passing, what it looked like to me. Imagine if you will a far north Canada tundra landscape in July, in the moonlight, but without any vegetation, just the rocks, the shelves, the shallow dips and rises. Endless open vistas, quite colorless, but definitely not unpleasant, and not boring either. It’s as if “we” belong here rather than in our home-made fractal worlds. The overwhelming aspect that struck me as I stood in that place which I can’t help calling “here” was the complete sense of well-being, of safety. Nothing could hurt or harm me here. And yet, I wasn’t the least emotional about any of it. It was normal.
This is where dreams come from. They are like a form of “evaporation” that leaks through cracks in the solid floor that separates astral from fractal. We cannot simply cross from one to the other at will, or even at random. Paranormal experiences are much like dreams but in these we actually get to touch something that has gotten through the energy field between subconscious and conscious. Some power, or force not normally active in our fractal reality.
Fully realizing I have created more questions than answers, I need to jump to something I am familiar with and something most people have heard of, one way other the other. Without going into judgment mode here, let’s look briefly at a record of Jesus empowering his disciples. Quote from the gospel according to Matthew:
Mt. 10:7 As you go, preach this message: `The kingdom of heaven is near.’
Mt. 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.
Freely you have received, freely give.
Mt. 10:9 Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts;
Mt. 10:10 Take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff; for the worker is worth his keep.
How often have I heard this preached on, or read it myself, and wondered about it, especially in those times when I wanted so desperately to be given this power. I wanted to understand what was meant by, “freely you have received, freely give.” That was especially important to me because I hate money. I hate the whole concept of selling for profit. It’s disgusting to me, like a blight and a certain lie.
Jesus was the son of God in the sense that he was an Avatar. As an adept, he could pass through the block between the astral/subconscious and the fractal/conscious world. He could bring out things we cannot have, and he could empower people with this. What we have been looking for all these long millennia of struggle is always present in the subconscious. It has been said (calculated?) that we are perhaps 99% subconscious, and 1% conscious on a daily basis. But our awareness resides in the conscious, and there’s the rub. We cannot access our own “all that is” because we don’t believe it. We rely on others to bring us information, or empowerment, just as the disciples of Jesus relied on him to give it to them. So what happens if our sources of information or power are not only exploiters and users, but have no access to the subconscious either, but know of its existence and can fabricate stories around it? Remember the best seller, “The Secret”? Going back a bit, Dale Carnegie and co, ad nauseam peddling the power of positive thinking?
Imagine my surprise to discover that they were right – just as right as they were wrong! Yes, what they say is true ; there is a world, a place, where we can find peace, power to be good, and live happy, healthy lives. A Fountain of Youth; a Cornucopia. Heaven in everything. I’ve seen it. I’ve been “here.” But it isn’t here, here. It’s in the subconscious and for most people, it shall remain ever out of reach. Why? Because they are caught in the twisted half-truths of the Matrix. Is there a “how-to” coming soon here? Am I going to make a point? I don’t know yet. Read and see. I’m partly channeling, partly recapping information, partly remembering my moment in heaven!
Back to Jesus. So he sent his disciples and they did all those impossible things: healed the sick of incurable diseases; raised the dead; cast out demons (make of that what you will), opened the eyes of the blind and explained to the people what they needed to CHANGE in themselves if they hoped to remain in this blessed state of well-being. Then it was over, and Jesus then said some amazing things, consider them promises from God, if you will. Basically he said, what you have seen me do, you will do, and greater things. I will send you the Holy Spirit (or Counselor) and he will instruct you in all things and remind you of everything I have told you.
So, the question is, what happened? Why did the promises not materialize? Though surrounded by a mega-trillion dollar outfit called Christianity, with its billions of “disciples” believing in Jesus, why are we still in the same mess? There are obvious reasons, and some not so obvious, but for our purposes here, we need to realize that it’s entirely up to us, as individuals, to make up our minds, whether to continue to walk as slaves of the Matrix through its organizations or to “force” our own way into the subconscious and begin to work from that. It has been said that “the kingdom of heaven” would be entered by forceful individuals.
I have to close this, though I have but skimmed the surface of what I now see, by returning to those “power of positive thinking” money grubbing people. They are, in themselves, false teachers and liars, though they do use truth to foist their false conclusions on people. There is a place of completion; of health and happiness, but it does not give its fruits to those who live in these fractal worlds. “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect” is a tall order, though one of the keys given by Jesus; a key to the subconscious. Garbage can’t enter there, that’s why the defensive shield. We are blocked both ways. Before we can go there, we have to change within, and for most, that is quite impossible, Scrooge notwithstanding.
These worlds, our worlds, belong to the Matrix, and that is the enemy of life, being diametrically opposed to the subconscious. It does not allow anyone to freely walk back and forth between the astral and these places. It opposes the bringing of healing and comfort, substituting its own false ways. For healing, it offers medical science. For enlightenment, it offers religion and philosophy. For teaching, it offers public education. For direction, it offers government. For comfort, security and safety, it offers guns and war. For wealth, it offers money. For happiness, well, it offers Caribbean cruises, Disney World, TV sports, 3-D movies and Wal-Mart.
What comes next, for me? I don’t know. But I do know this: I’m hooked, and I’m going to figure our a way to not only walk between the worlds, an interesting exercise but not so profitable for me anymore, but walk through the “veil” between the subconscious and the conscious. I am going to claim, and get, what has been promised.
And I’m going to concede the fight to my opponent, clean my sword, put it in its scabbard and back on the shelf. Then I’m going to go to work.
As for me, when I see some of these outrages from people, I ask them, “What would Jesus do.” In spite of their high-minded religious fervor. Invariably, they would have to admit––just the opposite. Jesus wouldn't own a gun.

"So tell me, from all your collective years in search of truth, through the many experiences, joys and pains life has given to you; do you feel there is a greater truth still beyond your grasp....Something you have been close to but never attained...."
This is what I told him, two things:
In each lifetime, each person creates various dramas that teach them how to love. But the soul lives on, it does not die. You keep returning until you learn to love, and to create and to express your God Self. ~Rosemary Altea
and
"Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it." ~Andre Gide~"
A great man told me something a long time ago. Pastor Hohenstein of the Evangelical Free churches (I used to belong to)... Everyone loved him and he preached until the day he died. He said: "The bible is a compilation of words, words men documented 60 years later after the death of Christ. Like any rumor, understand by this time the validity of anything said has been watered down, it is the same as one story told after another. You can see a lot of conflict alone in the feeding of 4000, 5000? Among other statements. Therefore, take what feels good to you and know it's about love."
He was a great man, a scholar, he had more books from original texts and could read all of them in all languages. I never forgot that. He never once said, this is the right way follow me.
We are all given the ability to think for ourselves. The important thing Regis is to think for yourself, follow your own path and don't let others convince you and say this is the way. Find your own way and do what feels good to you. When you find your own way you will feel peace.

First of all, Happy New Year! Second, I don't have all the answers. Faith is NOT a feeling it is a state of mind. I know that the more details we look at in the Bible the more questions and doubt are likely to come up. Having said that, I know many Biblical scholars who are not believers in God. So studying the Bible provides knowledge but not necessarily faith in God or any belief system. So, what's the point? Well, I just got done watching a movie called, "St. John in Exile" and it was excellent. Dean Jones played St. John. Billy Graham highly recommended this movie. Actually it's more of a play than a movie but you just have to see this one if just for the superb acting involved! the story reminded me of words of Jesus, "You have seen but blessed are those who have not seen..." st. John was describing how even after seeing Jesus perform all those miracles they (the twelve) still found it difficult to believe! However, as time rolled on and they witnessed Him coming back as a person after he was suppose to be dead they were finally getting that they were witnesses to His glory. Now this is the kicker. The Romans would have let them go in peace if they just said, "I made it all up and Jesus was a man just like anyone else." Then their lives would have been spared! But no, they were more than willing to die for what they believed in. That's a testimony that speaks louder than words!
So I ask myself, would I be willing to do the same? Well I go into prisons and incarcerated youth camps. I have discussed Jesus with convicted many a murderer who could have easily made me his next victim. Yes, it was worth it. If I could help turn around just one human being and in the process risk death, yes it would have been well worth it. So I think I have answered my own question.
So why do I believe? It is because I tried unbelief and it really SUCKS. I don't think that we just roll through this life without a purpose. There are laws that make this universe go round so why do we think that no laws should govern our actions? I believe in agape love. That is the one thing that keeps us from killing one another. God is love and so it goes. It may not make sense to others outside the Body of Christ but demonic ways make no sense to me or to the true Christian. Being in Christ keeps me from my demonic nature because I am not always a nice guy when I wake up. Yes, I am capable of hurting my brothers and sisters but that is not likely to happen if I follow Jesus. So you can say following Jesus keeps my life in order and at the same time gives me hope for my future when I get to the other side. Yes, we will all get a chance to go to the other side. The question is when? An important question is, "are you ready?"
Peace, blessings and may the love of Christ be with you,
John Michael
