Behold: an imploding society
[thoughts from ~burning woman~ by Sha’Tara]
This society is imploding on itself. It cannot be helped. It has become stagnant, marooned in old dogma it can’t make any sense of though it still goes through the motions of singing the slogans and mouthing the cant. It is the dying slave of the old order, the old oligarchy, aristocracy, plutocracy; the old guard: call it whatever: the invention of “secret societies” which means whatever rules the earth while remaining hidden. It has reached its own point of entropy
.
Life is change. Life demands change. But it must be real change, not just a change of clothes. If the emperor has no clothes on, and his wardrobe has been emptied by thieves, it’s quite pointless to pretend he can just put on a different suit, which is exactly what a change of politicians, or CEO’s, gets you: they’re still quite naked, everyone of them.
This society is no longer changing anything real, only surface trappings. It communicates faster, but has nothing to say. It moves faster, but all that does is make more noise and go nowhere except in ever-narrowing circles. It makes more things but it only means they have less purpose and durability and the garbage piles, even with so-called “recycling,” grow higher; the pollution of the land, water and air increases: a poorly masked global reality.
But that’s not what is talked about in the meaningless hubbub of conversation on cell phones and computers. Nor is it the main topic of talk shows and sports commentators.
The problem with this society is that it believes itself to be alive. Because it can make more noise; because it babbles at the speed of light; because it has a technology that can provide terabytes of useless information in the blink of an eye; because it can destroy and kill with speed and accuracy while at the same time grow empty numbers loaded with expectation; because it still builds high-rises, hospitals, schools, churches and toll bridges; because it can hear itself talk. It not only believes itself alive but somehow superior to its own past.
Yet it is dead, as dead as a leaf in late August. It may not have turned colour as yet, being still high up in the tree, attached to the branch but its life is over. All that it has left is its fall from the tree. Should there be any one left to hear anything, the fall of man will be as the rasping of that dried up leaf as it drops helpless through naked limbs and branches to settle into the ground and be heard no more.
Man’s society is a global collective made up of countless lesser collectives, some obvious, some quite obscure. There is a truism about all collectives: they cannot exist, let alone proper, unless they are sucking the life out of their members. Earthians, with their current knowledge and awareness could quite easily interact with each other and with their natural environment without any collective. There are human worlds where such is the norm, evolved worlds. But then, that’s my observation, and unless another can literally find such a world and study its ways, I can claim this but it has no value. So it comes down to observing earth, and taking stock of what is still available to prevent man’s inevitable and disastrous collapse.
If we assume the Matrix, the System, is a collective that requires increasing numbers of individuals upon which to feed in order to keep its power, to grow and become bloated; if we assume such a collective is inimical to man, then we can discover what was given to us that we may fight and kill this ravenous beast.
It’s easy to look back and see what the global collective has done in order to dummy-down intelligence. In schools, it has replaced the study of basic teaching in philosophy, reasoning, forming logical arguments, eliminating the science of intelligent debate while emphasizing courses dealing with mathematics, science and technology. More, the System gradually eliminated “the teacher” who taught a basic, broad-based curriculum which the student could use to experiment and develop new experiences outside the school. Now you have specialization to the point where one individual cannot understand the next, even in his own department. Everything has become pigeonholed, compartmentalized so that even as information flows faster, less can be grasped and put to work. The arts, particularly the art of speech and writing, are being systematically destroyed and replaced with “pre-fab” audio-visual information spewed out of computers, tablets, phones and proliferating “apps.” Research becomes nothing more than the ability to point and click and using a search engine. And where did morality go? Self-control, self-discipline, responsibility, respect: the kind of things that transforms any homo sapiens into a real person; into a human being? There is no place for that sort of “weakness” within the New World Order because the NWO can only succeed if it turns the species into androids.
What happens now? Predictably, less and less imagination is allowed, therefore less new ideas intrude into the systematic cloning of android brains. People can no longer think for themselves, they can only choose thoughts from pre-set selections and each day the selection is given less options. Life on earth is standing in front of a vending machine with a chip card and looking over the selection. Slip in the card, press “Weather patterns” and out comes the “global warming.” To the aware and relatively independent mind, the same can be seen everywhere. This is the technological, mechanized society, as predicted by George Orwell (1984), Aldous Huxley (Brave New World), et. al.
Once upon a time, people knew that such a controlled and dummied-down society was possible, given the technology. They were warned but chose to take no precaution to prevent global take-over. It was easier to believe that a richer, more comfortable, “safer” life would automatically mean greater independence, more control over one’s own life. Now immersed in a life provided exclusively by technology, the only life possible, they can no longer afford to worry about it, they must believe it can only get better as long as there is more of everything.
As if that could be any kind of a surprise.
But if you insist on putting water in a bucket while ignoring the fact that you live in the bucket and have no place else to go, it should stand to reason that you, and your society, will drown.
Can anything be done to reverse this certain death through the destruction of the natural environment and the eradicating of what essentially constitutes a human mind?
Sure. Any ONE can change the pattern of destruction within her/his own mind. I remember long ago coming across a statement that said, “be transformed by the changing of your mind.” That became my key to opening the locked doors leading to individual mind and unfettered imagination. It can be your key, but only as a self-empowered individual, never as a member of any sort of collective. Once the personal decision is made to become self-empowered, it’s just a matter of living it. How? Wild imagination plus laughingly questioning everything. Making technology and the servants of technology one’s servants and one’s source of amusement(!) rather than the other way around until less and less technology is required; until the bureaucrats lose all sense of purpose and direction. Then your mind-power takes over and there’s no looking back. After that comes faster than light travel through an open-ended infinite cosmos.
As we steadfastly march on the road to an unknown destiny, our ignorance has become our weakness and our arrogance has become a congenital disease threatening us with annihilation. (Michael Tellinger – Slave Species of God)

I was particularly amused because in my book, Alone?, I called the powerful, a thousand heads are better than one, type of governing, The Collective. The function of The Collective was basically, all for one and one for alla pure democracy. Unfortunately, the number of people were frightened by the idea as though it were the dreaded, Socialism, or even worse, Communism. I don't see it that way and would be interested in your take on the matter.
All in all, a lot of food for thought.
