Joan M. Matney was born and raised in Redlands, California. She currently resides in Redlands with her loving parents and grandmother. She has a wonderful loving boyfriend, who has worked with and supported her throughout everything good and bad in her life. The author works part time for the school district in the clerical and education fields. Her hobbies include reading, listening to music, and watching horror movies. Ms. Matney has always enjoyed reading and watching movies about vampires. Now she has had the opportunity to write about a vampire. She hopes readers will enjoy reading her book as much as she enjoyed writing it.
