timely!!

good advice for us all

I experienced a total solar eclipse when I was in grade school. The only warning then was not to watch it with binoculars or the naked eye. Everybody smoked glass so they could look at it that way and not damage their eyes. No one in that whole town experience anything but awe at what happens when the moon's orbit crosses in front of the sun periodically, blocking the sun with a shadow.

There will be no unforeseen consequences, like normal solar eclipses that happen quite often in different parts of the world. But there probably will be trouble in the US in September that has been building since the Trump presidency has bungled this way on toward an inevitable changing of the guard before too long. Almost anyone can predict that.
