INTERSTELLAR COLONIZATION a proposal for research

Human beings will never travel to planets beyond our solar system as organic beings.

The distances are too vast, flight time will take too long, deep space is too inhospitable, and the planets we may find will almost certainly be uninhabitable. In our own solar system, there is only one planet on which we can live, and even here, there are only a few places where we can survive and thrive.

Maybe, if we place our consciousnesses in machines, in androids or computers, we can do it, but we won't be human any longer.

Perhaps it would be possible to create a type of information package out of photons, that could land in an environment light-years away and start life into motion. First the creation of complex molecules, then RNA, DNA, etc., which would then evolve into what we are now, or theoretically into something better.

These algorithm bundles could also convey information on technology, medicine and other sciences, if the life forms can learn how to unlock them.

In fact, perhaps we are receiving such knowledge even now, but are unaware of it.....
