A retrospective appraisal of the course of one's life is pertinent to divulge that life is highly unpredictable and largely mysterious in its course. Life is like the river cause it just keeps flowing on and on. It doesn’t wait for anybody. A good deal of mystery and unpredictability often enshrouds not only the events of our external lives, but also what happens to us internally from day to day, and sometimes even from hour to hour. The vacillation of our moods, the expansion of impulses, the kindling of our emotions, changes in the state of our physical or psychological behavior, fluctuations in the marvel of energy, etc. However, what emerges from the contents of this assemblage is not a gospel of fatalism, for, in the light of the secret dynamics of existence revealed herein, the forces of life in their overall action tend to sub serve man's gradual growth out of the ordinary consciousness into progressively higher and deeper levels of being through the evolutionary process.

For evolution consists in the ascent of the spirit which, at first involved in matter and in conscience, progressively liberates itself by means of its secret evolutionary force, manifesting increasingly higher levels of its consciousness. Anyone with some intelligence and power of observation who lives more in an inward consciousness can see the play of invisible forces at every step, which act on men and bring about events without their knowing about the instrumentation. The play of the forces is very complex and one has to be conscious of them and, as it were, see and watch how they work before one can really understand why things happen as they do. I have not said that everything is rigidly predetermined. Play of forces doesn't mean that, what I said was that behind visible events in the world there is always a mass of invisible forces at play unknown to the exterior minds of men. These invisible forces rule our life. These forces are ever present in the journey of our life from here to the eternity.

All life is the play of universal forces. In the universal play there are some, the majority, who are ignorant instruments; they are actors who are moved about like puppets, knowing nothing. There are others who are conscious, and these act their parts, knowing that it is a play. There is a state of ignorance in which you do a thing and believe that it was you who decided it; there is a state of lesser ignorance in which you do a thing and believe that it was you who decided it; there is a state of lesser ignorance in which you do it knowing that you are made to do it but you do not know how and why; and there is too a state of consciousness in which you are fully aware. For you know what it that acts through you, you know you are an instrument, you know how and why your act is done, its process and its ultimate purpose.


The state of ignorance in which you believe that you're the doer of your acts persists so long as it is necessary for your development, but as soon as you are capable of passing into a higher condition, you begin to see that you are an instrument of the one consciousness, you take a step upward and you rise to a higher conscious level. We are not only what we know of ourselves but an immense more, which we do not know. It is only when we go behind, below, above into the hidden stretches of our being then we can know about us. Knowing oneself is the most versatile ambidextrous task in this earth. Do you know yourself? People, I am speaking to you all. Do you know yourself? I bet you don't. If you don't know then, who are you? If you know yourself then what great is it then? Everybody should know himself or herself. But the verity is that the more you know yourself the more you will explore the unexplored. So take a deep breath and then ask your heart. Do I know me? If yes, then who am I?
