Postcards from the Soul
Stress only becomes negative when we cease to listen to the Truth of Self, and deny our Soul it’s Wisdom

Know the Truth about Stress

Stress is not always negative, it can teach us strength or forewarn us of life's dangers

Challenges are resistance training in the present for the marathon that is the future.

"You will be tested till you pass the test, and the test is persistence" Unknown

Life presents challenges, sometimes we will step over those challenges, other times we may well trip over them, and fall down. If we step over them, we will have learnt the value of taking bigger steps. If we fall down, we will have learnt about getting up. Provided we continue to learn, both options will have value.

The medicine for our Soul is to look at every event as a learning experience, not a failure. To not judge ourselves but believe that the tough moments have value and will pass, and that the great moments will create more great moments.

Our Soul knows what it knows, that its value and purpose is not determined by a moment in terrestrial time, but by its continuance in the eternal NOW. In the collapsing of the potentialities of any given moment, some realities will be more effective than others, but the Soul knows we cannot know that, until after the choice is made. Which is why in the very next moment, another set of infinite potentialities are available to us containing no failures, just choices collapsing in to momentary realities.

Quoting Leo from the West Wing:-

“There was a time in the evolution of everything that works

When it didn’t work!”

Not everything we set out to achieve comes to fruition, but in the process of attempting to achieve we learn some lessons, if we are paying attention. Those lessons may be the information needed to ensure the next attempt is not a "failure", or show us a different option entirely. When this occurs, we are able to see that what "didn't work" at that time, may very well work in a different situation, or may bring us to a more appropriate choice developed from "the failure". There are in fact no failures, only more appropriate choices realized from the experiences of life's lessons.

The physical body requires positive stress. Exercise is an example of positive stress. The mental being requires positive stress, for example learning new tasks which keep the brain stimulated and nourished. The emotional being requires positive stress, for example learning to love oneself. Nurture releases chemicals into the Brain and the Body that heal and regenerate. The Soul too thrives on the positive stress of Remembering its purpose and Wisdom. We may need to consciously re-acquaint ourselves with our Soul and learn to trust our own Truth but the effort will bring us to LIFE rather than existence or some dimension of living.

Stress will be the Soul telling us something we need to know in order for the Life Force to be healed to know its Truth

Just as Body, Mind and Heart communicate to identify the fright, fight or flight moments in our life, and how to respond to that danger, when we learn to trust the Truth of our Self, our Soul will forewarn us of that which is in our Life Force journey that is not our highest good. In our modern world we have lost connection with our intuition, our sixth sense, the vibes we feel that tells us an encounter or situation is to be approached with perceptive awareness These are the ways our Soul talks to us about our own Truth of Self. Religious constructs, constructed or inherited belief systems may have discouraged us from knowing our own truth in this way, and indoctrinated us into believing we must "trust until we are proven wrong", "always trust or respect authority figures", "honour your parents" etc. when in fact our Soul is telling us that this is not Loving and Honouring Self and may well be detrimental to our total wellbeing.

Stress only becomes negative when we cease to listen to the Truth of Self, and deny our Soul its wisdom.
