In 2012 My husband David and I traveled to Europe and India. We visited the exquisite Himalayas and then traveled south to Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Mahasamadhi. While we were in Prashanti an Indian couple from the United Emirate area started experiencing vibhuti manifesting in their room inside the ashram. Later they moved out of the room and stayed in an apartment on Chitravati Road. Again, Vibhuti began manifesting in this apartment. I brought my new book to the apartment for blessings and within hours vibhuti was also manifesting on Sai Rapture, The Ecstatic Journey of a Modern Day Gopi.

Sounds like you had an interesting time in your travels through Pakistan, Bangladesh and Thailand.
Thanks for taking the time to view the slideshow. The Gopis were cow maidens that were devotees of Lord Krishna. There are many accounts of their rapturous encounters with Sri Krishna and their great love for God. Vibhuti is a powdery white sacred ash. It is a phenomenon that in recent times is attributed to Bhagavan Sathya Sai Baba. He has materialized ash and other items, which I personally witnessed up close when He was alive. This ash has also manifested on Sacred pictures and statues in devotees homes around the world.
I guess I should clarify that in the slideshow.

I, too, had wanted to visit India and Nepal. Unfortunately my time and finances did not allow me on my trip that took me to Pakistan (4 days), Bangladesh (4 days) and Thailand (20 days) staying with friends and relatives of friends. One of my friends described in great detail his travels around India visiting temples and learning from the people in them. During my graduate studies, my roommate was from Bombay (Mumbai) and a Zoroastrian with a Christian wife who stayed home during his studies. She came here to the States and they had 3 sons. We are still good friends today.
