I actually don't write the melody on music paper.I sit quietly in prayer and listen to whatever is within me that wants to be expressed.I can't say I can magically come up with a tune anytime I want,but I can create an environment constructive for my heart to send me a message.
For me usually the melody comes first. Though, not always.My one theme is that it is constant is trying to provide hope or compassion in some way.I see this as my little ministry. Trying to provide a little light of peace.
I figure I have a small little light of God within me, as everyone does. I try to bring God's light the best way I know how by the way I live my life ,my songs and my books. Even with my faults.😀
