Plans have changed.

Hello Everyone,

After some deliberation, my wife and I have decided to stick together.

We've been stuck in a vicious cycle for some time now, and for a moment, we both thought that separation was the next logical step.

I've said it before, but this place in which we live just keeps getting worse and worse. Gunshots are being heard more frequently, and sirens are just an everyday occurrence now.

Despite our marital troubles, we both have the same agenda, which is to become homesteaders and be as self-sustainable as possible.

We know it will be tough, but our new plan is to just rent a U-haul and take what's important, then just leave.

It may seem whimsical or irrational, but at this point, anything is better than living in constant fear and having to deal with people smoking dangerous drugs right in front of you on the bus.

Our new goal is to get out of here before my birthday at the end of March.

We have more than enough reasons to refuse to pay rent, and so we plan to do that for March and use that money for our escape.

I've offered to return the items I got from the wishlist, and we plan to make a new one for the stuff we'll need for our pets.

On a different note, I captured two UFOs on the update video I filmed yesterday.

I posted a cut version on TikTok, and Jen made a different edit that you can see here. She made that one in response to all of the Redditors telling me that they're just birds.
