I have heard it said that the best course of action is allways one beneficial to all involved, or at least beneficial to some and not harmful to the others.
Kind of like the doctor's oath " First
do no harm...."
Although the actions taken by many people, in many situations I've encountered in my lifetime have shown
a very different reality.
A twisted version, If you will,
Something like this;
" The best course of action is allways one beneficial to the person devising it, or at least one garnering this person
some form of gain without harming themselves"
As a child I worried why I felt good being around some people and uneasy with others.
As I grew I began to realize that those I felt uneasy around were those who's acts of unkindness and selfishness I was witnessing.
That those whom I felt most comfortable with were allways those who were loving, thoughtful, and kind.
Then one day I had an epiphany,
I realized why this difference exists
I realized that it's easier to be mean to each other than to try to understand the love we send.
For all that we've been taught
about the wonders and joys and beauty and happiness of being loving and good there is still the allure of success and gain and comfort,
through the use of selfishness, greed and hate,
and that for some, human habit or human nature will allways dictate taking the easier route.
If we're walking a smooth path it is human nature to use skates. It also is defeative when nature isn't like this so...through a veil we see the easier road and we take it to get what we want quicker only to find we rushed past the important details that support life with the honesty the heart desires.
Life is a gravel road Pierre and once we make it to our goals we appreciate the bumps that caused pain and we realize we made it because we chose to savor the little details.
Thank you for allowing me to get this out. I appreciate you.
Peace and harmony and cheers for April.
