If we're walking a smooth path it is human nature to use skates. It also is defeative when nature isn't like this so...through a veil we see the easier road and we take it to get what we want quicker only to find we rushed past the important details that support life with the honesty the heart desires.
Life is a gravel road Pierre and once we make it to our goals we appreciate the bumps that caused pain and we realize we made it because we chose to savor the little details.

Everything from the line “I will be afraid…” on through the end of this sensitive poem is one of the most adept expressions I’ve ever heard about ‘loss of loved one,’ even before it happens. This piece of poetry describes so well what is underneath these words, “I can’t live without you.” But the gentleness of your way of saying “I will be afraid…” is so perfect. Unfortunately, for most of us, we are tied to corporations providing us with basics, our jobs which give us the money we need to pay for those basics, and governments at all levels to provide ways for us to engage in travel and interstate commerce, basic health and safety, and other services.
The only truly free people are those living completely off the land or water, and we consider them, unfortunately, primitive and inferior.

Did you actually mean to say that when she puts her love within your heart and now you're feeling whole, but not lonely? I don't understand why she puts her love within your heart to make you feel her loneliness. Shouldn't she be also in love too?

Last night I was watching old folk singing groups on PBS and saw the Youngbloods perform (only the lead singer remains). When I first saw them, back in 1968 at the Peoples' Park in San Jose, they sang their hit song: "Come on people now, let's all get together, try to love one another, right now." That sentiment can be expressed enough.

This reads for me like a list of mighty forcefields. Very strong implications and observances that render the answer 'yes' to most, if not all, of these in my view. The second stanza, "could a soul" brings about the vision of 'total immersion in devout spiritual discipline.' The poetry stands like a pillar exemplifying imbalance. Sadder than sad...I know these emotions and they can change your life. They cut me like a knife years ago. Now I'm a skeptic when it comes to love. I hope this doesn't happen to you. Your poem is a message taken from the heart. It is where the best poems are created...from experience.

In life the pain gives us incite to living and how much better life tastes after we go through pain. Some live with love deep in their hearts in the memories that love adds.
