Heavy debate goes back and forth, about whether we should build a fence blocking Mexican immigrants from coming into our country. And, honestly, I am completely confused about the actual issue and concerns. So, let me ask you this. Are we East Berlin or West Berlin? When will we start building a fence to stop Canadians from coming to our country? It is obviously the next step, isn't it?
I mean really, the United States is, in our humble opinion, the best place to live. Therefore, that would make us West Berlin. We are a thriving country, excellent schools, good paying jobs, better housing, etc. This is why Canadians come into our country. This is where the expression Snowbird came from, right? They do not have to sneak into the country. They just arrive and no one seems to have a problem with it, yet.
However, the next step is building a wall along the Canadian border as well. By building the wall, we will not have to deal with the actual issues. The actual issues prove that the Peter Principle exists in our government. We can just ignore the problem and use the excuse that we are building the wall to protect our citizens from those foreigners who seek to have a better life. Well, people of America … that makes us East Berlin.

As far as I know, Canadians don't have cartels that smuggle in children to be sex slaves. They don't bring gangs in, with tons of Fentanal and other poisons that are killing off our children.
As far as I know, they don't smuggle guns in, so teenagers can kill each other. Farmers and ranchers don't find Canadian children dead on their ranches from smugglers.
We don't need to build centers such as in Lubbock TX to house hundreds of ex-sex slaves from Canada.
See, this is what the wall blocks out or at least tries to. Terrorists are also now finding a hole in our country, so they can start or promote terror.
See, good Mexicans come in the right way, legally. The wall stops everyone who is illegal or at least tries to when we have a legitimate government who understands the issues, such as Gov. Abbott of Texas.
I hope you are no longer confused.

Well, I decided to not turn around. I tried to explain that I missed my turn. I had not planned to enter Canada. We were detained. Had to show proof of U.S. Citizenship. Hun?! We were told that we were in a zone now where we couldn't enter Canada or our country, the U.S.
Now please tell me, why should illegal, non-residents be able to just waltz into the United States while legal residents are given the third degree. Your article is well-written, but one-sided. But it helped me understand why there is so much confusion and emotion.
