What does our Savor have to offer that the world (with our Julian calender) literally revolves around the day of His birth? Why is He so special?
Jesus offers us HOPE in the midst of darkness and despair. We don't need to think that He is merely another rich King sitting on a throne. Why? Because He was born in an impoverished stable.
Our Savior knows what it's like to be without. He has been there and done that! So we can really see that a MIRACLE came from the little baby in the manger because He knew what poverty was like but still, He overcame it and He did so very well!
What are the chances of this transformation occurring? A little baby in a stable becomes the most recognized person in the past and present world! It is truly a marvel to wonder how could this little child bring about so much JOY to the world!
All I can say to all is, "Jesus LOVES you" and "He is waiting for YOUR LOVE in return." That's a LOVE that will bring about "Eternal Happiness" today and tomorrow. Who would say "no" to a gift that will last forever?
If we come to Jesus like a little child and accept the wonder that He can even exist in such a dark and dreary world we will get over ourselves and get on with a life full of possibilities. These possibilies are limitless and are far beyond our imagination. That's the ultimate gift!

It is not a dark and dreary world. Some people create their own dark world. And for some, it is caused, like Sartre described, "Hell is other people." The world is getting better all the time without Christ's intervention. Already the 21st century is appearing to be a lot better than the 20th with a World War raging in France and many other countries in 1918 and a worldwide flu epidemic killing millions.
The Christmas we enjoy the most is mostly made up of pagan traditions that have nothing to do with Jesus Christ.
