I never watched the 700 club and didn't know who Danuta Pfeiffer was until I watched the video. I couldn't watch the whole video but watched enough snippets to get the gist of her story. I also didn't know that you worked for the Christian Broadcast Channel in a very political post there.

I'm quite happy that you returned to Madison and more serious, in-depth reporting. I'm also very happy that Danuta has come clean in her memoir about how power, money and politics has corrupted the leaders like Pat Robertson of the righteous right to the point of most of them still backing Donald Trump. Her description of the Donald is exactly the one that I have always had from the very beginning when he ran for president for the first time. I watched every episode of The Apprentice. It was easy to conclude that Donald Trump was not a businessman but a sociopathic power monger from just watching that show.

I've always thought that faith healing was either a plant in the audience or in the case of Danuta's explanation, the power of a placebo. Not something that would benefit me with any reversible spinal cord injury. But certainly a lot of ailments that can be reversed by simply the power of positive thinking and getting the right brain chemicals to operate glands and organs in the right way. People have spent years in bed and then got up and went back to life without any godly intervention.

We need more of the faithful to be as you describe, intelligent, and realize that backing bad causes does nothing for our country or the world but hold us back with the abuse of power and money. Thank her for me for writing her books.
