“I have not had a vacation in over ten years,” she says.

“Who can afford a vacation nowadays?” another replies.

“Who’s got the money?” they both laugh simultaneously.

Everyone can afford a vacation. All you need is a little bit of time and a good attitude.

Someone else might reply: “who has the time for a vacation?”

All you need is one day, a little bit of enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. There are so many great places in this country to see, to love and admire. Last Sunday I discovered the most beautiful park in the world. It was adorned with birds, waterfalls, large trees, beautiful flowers and rivers. I really think we live in paradise. I wonder why more people are not enjoying such beautiful treasures. Sometimes, what we’re looking for may be right around the corner from us. We just have to take the time to see it.
