What do you do when you or someone that you know have given up? Why should you care if someone throws in the towel? Hope is what keeps us going, and hope is available to all.
Jesus saw in His disciples what they could not see in themselves. If they fell, He built them back up. If they did something that they felt alienated them from Jesus, He brought them back.
That's how we should treat each other. If one falls or makes a mistake, build him or her back up. If she/he feels that what was done no longer allows fellowship with God, bring him/her back as Jesus did with Peter.
We have to be committed through mistakes and falls -- none is perfect but Jesus.
Correct, none of us are perfect, nor should we profess to be. I thank God every day, first thing for the opportunity to spread a little sunshine wherever it is needed. Nice writing!
