We seem to have a lack of Judges trying cases in this country. Now I have the reasons why.

     I don’t know when or where we went wrong. It all started with Judge Wapner back in the eighties. It was fun to watch the good judge try cases and we all loved it. Now we have Judy, Akeem, Joe Brown, oh excuse me Judge Joe Brown, ( I think he had his name changed because everyone calls him that and nothing else.) Mathis, Christine, Hatchett, Mills Lane, Marilyn Milian, Maria Lopez, Alex and I am sure there will be a million more.     I realize that American television offers the spice of life but come on, do we need to be experts in the judicial system that badly that they are dragging judges off the streets now?  I blame this all on O.J. I didn’t, but many watched his trial for a year waiting for something to happen but it did not. That trial gave us all a degree in political science and law, which is as good as the paper it was written on.  We got more from the opening of Capones Vault then we did in the O.J. trial and all the television judge shows combined.     Oh sure there are many more shows to watch on the box, but besides kids programming, we also have the school of policing like CSI and many others. Yes, we are sufficiently schooled on every aspect of law and order my friends, just remember to use that knowledge when you get arrested and see how far that will get you. I think, we are putting too many judges on the television and that is why crime is up to an all time high and it is no wonder because there are no judges in real life courtrooms anymore. We need to get back on track and leave one or two to man the television and the rest to man the criminals.     I have an idea, why don't we send all the criminals who fill and overcrowd the jails in this country over to fight the war and bring our sons and daughters back home.   If they run, who cares, if they die good for them, it is better then crying for a lifetime over our own flesh and blood now isn't it?
