Mrs. Feinstein is right, Netanyahu does not represent her, but if she would feel for the Jewish people she would have averted Obama’s attacks on Netanyahu. An attack on Netanyahu is an attack on Israel. Netanyahu and his brother are heroes who put their lives on the line to save Jews, not only Israelis. As a Senator, she could do better to help Israel. What she said just strengthens Obama’s attitude towards Israel.
The writer of these lines is an American, a survivor of WWII, and has fought for Israel twice in the battlefield as an officer. If she does not understand what Netanyahu means, then she does not deserve to represent any Jews.
Those who question Netanyahu’s right to talk to Congress forget that the US government has three independent branches, and one does not necessarily have to ask permission from the other.
After openly criticizing Netanyahu in Congress, now Kerry says that he is “welcome to speak in the United States, obviously.”
Kerry and Obama have systematically sabotaged Israel during the Gaza war, if they have not been instrumental to its outbreak in the first place. They have not considered Israel as an ally but rather as an enemy, since they sided with Hamas, Qatar and Turkey, Israel’s enemies. The good Jews who fought for Israel will not forget that.
Among the 5+1, the only one which is not represented is Israel, which is constantly threatened by Iran and its surrogates. Kerry never intervened to say to Iran to stop threatening Israel directly or through its surrogates.
Kerry requests to be given the benefit of the doubt. Can there be any doubt about the true intentions of Iran? Have we forgotten the bombing of the US and French barracks in Beirut, where hundreds of our and French soldiers died without any provocation. Kerry and Obama take their responsibility very lightly. The US is better than that.
