This is Monday's assignment in my Yahoo class. I am to write about a talent I wish I had!!!!!! Let me see...there are many...HaHa!!!

I suppose what I would MOST like to be talented at is "Putting things together, like woodworking or tile fixing."

I would LOVE to be able to go to the "Home Depot Store" which is every Handyman's dream, and be able to put in tiles in my sink area and buy a doorframe and sand it down or something. I have seen my Mom do these things so I know it can be done by a woman! Mom was very capable of doing things without any money back in the days of raising us kids!

A young boy I used to babysit, now MAKES furniture in Kansas City, Missouri! He is really good too! He has sent me pictures and all! I feel OLD now that he is ALL GROWN UP! Yikes!

I am not skilled at all when it comes to handywork. That means EVEN putting in Lightbulbs!  Oh, I could probably do it and I have seen it been done before, but I protest and gets done by another sister. I have my ways at times.

If I could put a sink in for myself or Mom sometime, I think I would become the "All-American Girl" in Mom's eyes at least and be able to do no wrong, even on top of my illness and everything.

Mom has been the handywoman in the family so far, but now that Julie has her own house and has been married almost eight years, SHE has become handywoman also!

My time will come I guess.
