Just wanted to give you an update, now that I have access to my computer.

Where I live (about 25 minutes from the coast) we only witnessed a small portion of what Hurricane Sandy brought to Connecticut.

The coastal towns were devastated!  All the way from New Haven to New London, the storm flooded many homes and businesses.

It surged at around 6:00 pm on Sunday evening and continued to flood from that point on.

Mostly all shoreline towns are still without power and anticipation for restoration of electricity isn't likely until the weekend.

All school districts have cancelled classes for the rest of the week, and people are trying to stay warm and fed.

My daughter is involved in this, as is her inlaws.  They all iive on the shoreline.

The beach that I frequent, Old Lyme, is devastated as well.  I have posted a photo taken on Sunday evening.

 I haven't gotten any updated photos since this one was taken.  When I do, I will post them.
